Also, the activities of measuring air quality in three high schools (Zrenjanin Gymnasium, Economic and Trade School "Jovan Trajković", and Technical School) and three public institutions in Zrenjanin (City Administration, Cultural Center, Public Enterprise for Urbanism), as well as pilot actions of energy efficiency in three high schools in Zrenjanin, were completed After the installation of the equipment and six months of collecting various data, such as, among other things, consumption, ambient lighting, temperature, humidity, a report is being prepared that will provide information on the current situation in these facilities, as well as recommendations and measures for improvement.
The development of the Master Plan for Sustainable Energy for the territory of Central Banat has been completed, which mapped all territorial challenges and, together with the Action Plan, offered concrete solutions for reducing energy consumption and increasing the use of renewable energy sources. In order to raise public awareness of the importance of energy savings, four billboards have been set up in busy streets in Zrenjanin, which present thermal images and promote one of the main messages of the project. Work continued on the construction of the first smart building in Banat in Zrenjanin, which will house the newly established "Regional Center for Energy Efficiency - Banat", which will provide institutional support to the energy transition process in Banat.
Also, the final conference in Zrenjanin is planned, at which the most significant achieved results will be presented and the ceremonial opening of the new Center will be organized.
The project ends on March 13, 2021, and its total value is 852,001.50 euros.
