A round table was held in Romania, organized by the City of Timisoara. The topics of the Round Table were focused on smart and sustainable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable consumption of resources needed to achieve the goals set by the Energy and Climate Package of the European Union, more precisely the EU goals for 2020 and future key goals for 2030, promoting sustainable energy in local communities in the cross-border region.

The event was attended by representatives of local, county and regional authorities, local governments and institutions responsible for environmental protection, representatives of environmental agencies and conservationists, representatives of universities, teachers, students, representatives of non-profit associations, commercial companies and people interested in sustainable energy and Sustainable Development. Participants from the Serbian side were included online due to the current epidemiological situation.
