An Annual Conference on the project “Smart and Sustainable Energy Consumption - SASEC” has been held in an online form. The different subject was observed and presented such as:

• The Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy towards climate-neutral communities;
• The reasons why energy efficiency programs may fail;
• Integration of regional and continental energy policies towards a neutral-carbon Europe;
• Energy efficiency in buildings;
• Microbial aero flora monitoring: a significant aspect of investigating air quality;
• Use of data on environmental parameters to improve the energy efficiency of the public buildings.

All presentations were elaborated by eminent experts in the field of energy efficiency from Romania and Serbia. More than 90 participants participated at the on-line conference which shows that these subjects are more than interesting for people from those two countries and that they have the same goals for progress when it comes to energy savings and energy efficiency.

This event showed that organization of this kind of event, with such subjects, are more than welcome by the people, and that an online event is a suitable form for discussions and changing of experience and best practice.
